Yiippie!!! Just in case you don't know.. I'm from Singapore. This is the first time AFA'08 will be held in South East Asia.. and I'm so so happy that it's held in Singapore :DAnime Festival Asia 2008 (AFA’08) will held in Singapore Suntec City for the very first time and it will be the biggest Japanese Animation Event ever held in Singapore too!If you like Gundam, watch out.. Kunio Okawara, Mechanical Designer for Gundam will be making a special appearance at AFA08! (I'm not exactly into Mecha but this is still worth being excited about.. :D) It will take place on 22nd-23rd of Nov 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Center. AFA’08 will showcase a wide array of Japanese Pop Culture related content, spanning over 5,000 sqm of space with 6 experience zones: Akiba Town, Anime Live, Anime Blockbusters, Industry, Mangaka and Planet Mech, where visitors will gain access to exclusive content, merchandise and live acts straight from Japan.AFA'08 is made possible by the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Foundation. AFA'08 will be attended by directors, producers, manga artists and creative individuals from Japan’s entertainment industries.AFA’08 is organized by I-Promo Events & Marketing in partnership with Dentsu Singapore.
