All I can recall about this episode are Nosebleeds and Breast Grabbing! It's quite a funny episode but I simply can't stand the Nosebleeds. Too much of it simply turns me off.My favorite character so far is Mariya. 'She' is the most interesting character in
Maria†Holic and she's a total sadist!! It's fun to watch how 'she' bullies Kanako.I'll continue watching and hopefully there will be less nosebleeds in the future episodes! I also want to find out why is there a Pink-faced monster at the corners of the screen. It appears many times! I am quite intrigued by its presence!
Opening Theme
The Opening Theme is Not my cup of tea! It's called 'Hanaji' and it's performed by Yu Kobayashi. I'll definitely skip it whenever I watch
Maria†Holic.In the Opening, you'll see Mariya smashing mannequins around. To me, that's not very pleasing to the eyes. I think they are trying to emphasize to us that Mariya is a Sadist. Well, I do get the idea but I'm not impressed by it.
SummaryIt's finally the first day of school, however, Kanako's excitement is dampened by Mariya's presence. Kanako is introduced to her class. To her delight, the class is full of kawaii gals and even the sinseh is beautiful. Before class starts proper, all the students are asked to assemble in the event hall to welcome the freshmen. Mariya, being the President of the Student Council and the Archery Club in Junior High School, is naturally selected to represent the Freshmen in giving a speech. Halfway through the speech, Kanako's stomach growls. While everyone in the hall is trying to look for the culprit, Mariya surprisingly says that the growl comes from her stomach. Everyone knows that 'she's' not the culprit, but they are impressed by 'her' selfless behavior. Kanako thinks that Mariya has helped her out but the truth is Mariya is just trying to boost 'her' own popularity.After school, Ryuuken looks up Kanako in her class. Ryuuken is wondering if she had done anything wrong as she was suddenly chased out of the room. Before Kanako can give a reply, Mariya appears. 'She' explains to Ryuuken that the reason is due to her high popularity. Ryuuken is popular for her males roles in the theater club and many gals want to go out with her. Any girl who is close to Ryuuken will be a target of her fangals. Suddenly, Kanako's bag explodes due to the seaweeds and water in her bag. Upon seeing that, Ryuuken is fully convinced that it's her fault and she apologizes to Kanoko.After Ryuuken leaves, Kanako says something which p*sses Mariya off. As a result.. Breast Grabbing! Surprisingly, this time round, Kanoko does not break out in hives. Is this because of 'Love'?Pictures
