Gintama - Itou arc!

Itou arc - Episodes 101 - 105 Awesome arc!! It's my favorite Gintama arc so far. It's very funny, very entertaining and very exciting to watch!! It gives a range of emotions which, I feel, makes Gintama the best! Real Epic!Here are the reasons why I love this arc:- Hijikata is an OTAKU! (I am a big fan of Hijikata and it's painful but yet funny to see him being a wimp and an otaku! ^.-)- Gin-san in Shinsengumi uniform! (Cool!) - Sougo in Ultimate Battle-mode (Real bloody!!)I also find the part about the Otaku and NEET quite revealing. Here is some information about NEET and Hikikomori.SummaryHijikata sends his sword for repair. When choosing a sword for temporary use, he chooses a good but supposedly cursed sword. It turns out that the sword is indeed cursed and as the days go by, Hijikata becomes more and more wimpy and otaku-like. Just as Hijikata is suffering under the cursed sword, Shinsengumi adviser aka Hijikata's arch rival, Kamotaro Itou, returns to Shinsengumi.In order to become the Vice-Commander and to get rid of Hijikata, Sougo decides to work with Itou, to get Hijikata suspended. However, what Sougo is unaware of is the real motive of Itou. His real motive is to use the powers of Joui Faction (Kiheitai) to kill Kondou and Hijikata, and take over the entire Shinsengumi. Meanwhile, Hijikata, who is now fully possessed by the otaku spirit in the sword, begs Yorozuya for help to save Shinsengumi.Kondou is now in a train filled with Shinsengumi members who are on Itou's side. Battle-mode Sougo appears and saves Kondou from the rebels led by Itou. Yorozuya, along with Hijikata, is also on their way to save Kondou and Shinsengumi.Hijikata manages to use his willpower to break free from the curse and he battles against Itou. Meanwhile, Gintoki is forced into a battle with none other than Bansai. Bansai reveals to Gintoki that Takasugi is only making use of Itou's ambition to destroy Shinsengumi from inside.After being saved by Kondou, Hijikata and others from Kiheitai's attack, Itou begins to realize how important the bonds he formed in the Shinsengumi are to him and how foolish he was to try and betray his dear friends. In return, he saves them but loses his left arm as a result. At the end, he is allowed to have one last duel with his old rival, Hijikata, and is allowed to die as a friend and a samurai.
