The fight is over and the contract is formed. What does this mean for Keita? Well, it means that he has to be stuck with Kuro for the rest of his life. He's obviously not happy about it. So, instead of looking all depressed
(in Episodes 1 & 2), he looks irritable and angry throughout this episode. This doesn't really help in making him more likable. So far, only Akane thinks that he's likable.Speaking of Akane, I'm still confused about her. She is Keita's childhood friend but she behaves (and also looks) more like his mother. Throughout this episode, she also seems to be overly concerned about Kuro getting close to Keita. The animation seems to be worse than last week's. The action sequences are weak and the whole synchronization sequence cracks me up. I am amused by how amateurish it looks. I hope they won't be playing it every time they synchronize. It will be a torture to watch it over and over again.
SummaryAfter the fight, Keita used up too much energy during the synchronization and fainted. Kuro brought him back home. The next morning, Keita wakes up and finds a hungry Kuro munching on uncooked ramen. She tells him that the both of them need to be physically near each other, because of the contract they formed, or else they will die. During the contract formation, they actually exchanged their hearts. This means that Keita's heart is with Kuro and Kuro's heart is with Keita. Kuro tries to prove it to Keita by lifting up her shirt to show him the scar on her chest. Just at that exact moment, Akane walks in.Kuro tries to explain to Akane everything but all Akane can understand is.. Kuro saved Keita's life. However, Keita thinks otherwise. He feels that Kuro is the one who gets him into this bad situation. Though Akane is baffled by what Kuro says, she still brings Kuro out shopping. Of course, Keita follows along as according to Kuro, they are supposed to stay near each other.Meanwhile, Excel and her partner are on the move. Excel senses an unusually high amounts of Tera in the area and has come to investigate. According to them, this means that Master Roots are being mass produced. The focus then switches to this guy called Hiyou. He sends out his minions to look for Kuro. He also meets up with the bespectacled guy from Episode 1. Hiyou asks that guy how the production of Master Roots is. Though they both seem like the antagonists, interestingly, they don't seem to be on good terms. It's unsure if one of them or none of them is Kuro's brother. The next morning, Keita heads to school while Kuro stays at home. As expected, the minions manage to track down Kuro. As the contract was only recently formed, Kuro's ability to fight is still low and she is unable to put up a good fight. Throughout her fight, Keita, who is in school, can also feel her pain. She then manages to escape and track down Keita, who is in the middle of a conversation about 'Doppeliner' with his sensei. Kuro senses that the sensei is a Tribal End.
Kuro and the sensei immediately engage themselves in a fight and all Keita can do is to stand still and look like an idiot. After some hesitation, he finally gathers enough strength to spray the fire extinguisher to help Kuro escape.
The sensei manages to catch up and then, the truth behind Lisa's death is revealed. Yup! The culprit is the sensei. This totally p*sses Keita off and he asks Kuro to beat the crap out of his sensei. Kuro is more than happy to do so but before she can, they need to synchronize. This leads to a laughable synchronization sequence, which gives Kuro a power boost, and she easily defeats Keita’s sensei.
PicturesI ate dry ramen before too! (^.-)
It seems like Kuro is very open minded.
The little gal is called Excel.
Kuro is out shopping!
Hiyou and the bespectacled guy. Either one of them or none of them is Kuro's brother.
Kuro is totally pawned!
Keita can feel her pain.
Kuro is being beaten up and all Keita can do is to stand and watch like an idiot! (=.=)
Finally, he picks up a fire extinguisher and spray at his sensei.
This totally cracks me up!
(*^*)Since Keita can't fight, he stands aside and cheers Kuro on.
All it takes is 2 punches to defeat the sinseh.
