07-Ghost Episode 2

Poor Mikage! He's stuck in the horrible school and he's getting hell from Ayanami!Lucky Teito! He's now in a paradise with more bishounen!! This episode is more like a background episode. We get introduced to more characters and things like the feud between Barsburg Empire and Raggs Kingdom, and the myth of the 'Seven Ghosts' are explained.I find this episode pretty entertaining, other than the bishounen (^-^), there's a good mix of humor and drama. My only problem with 07-Ghost is that the lighting is too bright!! I guess I just have to get used to it.Mini SummaryTeito manages to escape from Ayanami, but he's seriously injured. As he loses his consciousness and falls from his Hawkzile, Frau, Castor and Labrador appear and save him. Frau, Castor and Labrador are Bishops from Barsburg church, which is protected by the 'Seven Ghosts'.Teito regains conscisouness and recalls that he's from the Raggs Kingdom. However, he is still unclear about many things and so he decides to check out the church library. He manages to find a book named 'The Empire's War Records covering the past 100 years'. However, the book turns out to be a porn book, which Frau secretly hid. When Castor asks Teito what he's looking for, Teito answers that he wants to learn about the war which took place 10 years ago. Castor then reveals to Teito that 1000 years ago, there were 2 countries that were equally powerful and influential. One of them was the Barsburg Empire, which had been granted God's divine protection through the 'Eye of Raphael'. The other was the Raggs Kingdom, which had been granted God's divine protection through the 'Eye of Mikhail. In order to maintain world peace, the 2 countries formed an alliance. However, 10 years ago, the Raggs Kingdom wanted both Eyes and broke the alliance. They went to war against the Barsburg Empire and were defeated. After hearing the history that was written in history books, Teito is full of doubts. Frau reminds Teito that there's more than one 'truth' and everyone, who was involved, carries their own form of 'truth'. He challenges Teito to travel the world to see the 'truth' for himself if he does not believe in the history that was written. Feeling inspired by what Frau just said, Teito decides to find out the truth for himself.As he runs off, he comes across a big statue. One of the sisters is around and explains to Teito that it's one of the guardians protecting the church. According to a thousand year legend, the God of Death Verloren committed a grave crime and escaped to Earth. As a result, the hearts of people were invaded by Verloren and they slipped into despair. The Chief of the Heavens grieved over what was happening and dispatched 7 heavenly lights to punish the evil Verloren. It's called the the 'Seven Ghosts', and it is said that they have managed to seal Verloren. She then continues and says that this place does not belong to anyone - it's the 'Zone of God'. Teito is impressed and overwelmed by everything he sees and hears and he asks himself why the church gives him a nostalgic feeling. In the garden outside the chuch, Teito bumps into Labrador and Labrador gives him a purple flower which is supposed to be a good luck charm. According to Castor, it's called a 'Silver Rose' or 'Flower of Protection'.Meanwhile, Mikage is being interrogated by Ayanami. To protect his best friend, Mikage reveals nothing.
