Eden of the East Episode 6

Poor Oosugi!!! He's still suffering from a heartbreak and now his penis is at risk of 'breaking' too. I admire his courage to try to get help despite being tied up. I hope he gets help from someone very soon. Since his friends already know about it, I hope they can get Akira to help out.I don't understand Shiratori. How does cutting off penises help to save Japan? She must have been dumped by many men before. Is she really trying to kill 20,000 men? That's quite a tough feat as it means she has to cut off many penises a day.I also don't quite understand the Eden of the East program. Hirasawa says that it's a paradise for NEETs, but how is it so? Sigh.. I find this episode a little confusing but nonetheless, it's still entertaining. I especially like those parts with Akira teasing Micchon. ^-^Mini SummaryThe Selecao woman (Shiratori) brings Oosugi to her hotel room and ties him to a chair. She then uses a cutter to threaten his Johnny. Fortunately for Oosugi, she gets interrupted by a call and is forced to leave the room for a while.Meanwhile, Akira sends Saki to Micchon’s place. After Akira leaves, she calls her sister to tell her that she’s not coming home because she doesn’t know how to face Ryousuke. Her sister is not happy about it, but Ryousuke thinks that they should just let her do what she wants. The next day, Saki shares with her friends in the Eden of the East group about Akira and how he wants to support them. Hirasawa is very suspicious, but Micchon finds it interesting, and they decide to go visit Akira to see what kind of person he is. As the others leave the room, Kasuga tells Hirasawa about what happened to Oosugi the previous night. Kasuga suspects that Oosugi saw Akira and Saki together, and he’s worried because Oosugi, who was drunk, disappeared after dinner. Hirasawa does not want to exclude Oosugi from the group activities since he's a founding member, so he asks Kasuga to find Oosugi. When they reach the shopping mall, Saki’s female friends are impressed by the place, but Hirasawa’s attention is drawn towards an off-limit area. Before he gets a chance to check it out, he's distracted by his group members. When Hirasawa reaches Akira's room, he gets a shock when music suddenly starts playing, and Akira, who is riding on a large mechanical bear, appears and welcomes them. After a brief introduction, Hirasawa asks Akira why he wants to support them and what he wants with Saki. Akira’s answer to the second question is that he feels that Saki doesn’t need to work for older guys who dump beef don on her. As for the first question, he reveals that he has seen the Eden of the East program, which is a revolutionary image recognition program that can be implemented on any mobile phone, and is impressed with it. Since the group is having a little trouble with it, Akira wants to help them out. However, Hirasawa doesn’t want Akira’s help because he sees Eden of the East as a paradise for NEETs, and he doesn't want someone who is not a NEET to help out. Akira offers to fund Eden of the East as he feels that it may help him to regain his memories. After Saki also tries to persuade Hirasawa, he finally agrees to accept Akira's funding. While Akira and Micchon is using fireworks and arranging them in the shape of a happy face, to light up the courtyard, Hirasawa receives a phone call from Kasuga concerning Oosugi. Kasuga suspects that Oosugi may have been kidnapped by the 'Johnny Taker', a kidnapper reputed to have almost 20,000 victims, due to a posting on a message board by a guy who claims to have been confined by a woman and is asking for help. Hirasawa wants to check it out too and he asks Kasuga to send the URL of the message board.PicturesPoor Oosugi!!!Saki's friends' first meeting with AkiraHirasawa agrees to accept Akira's funding.
