Arghh.. I've been so busy with my life and re-watching old series
(will blog about it soon!) that I've neglected most of the on-going series. I'm happy that I've finally caught up with
FMA: Brotherhood. So far, I find the plot intriguing and exciting. It's totally different from the first series and at this point, I prefer the second series a little more. I'm also very happy that Mustang gets a lot more action in this series.
The whole Homunculus thing is getting very interesting and I can't wait to find out whether the Homunculus' Father is Ed and Al's father.
Episode 18Ross is not dead and her savior is none other than Mustang! \(^.^)/
Barry is attacked. The attacker is his old body with an unknown soul.
Episode 19Mustang and Havoc are attacked by Lust. After much struggling and burning, Mustang finally manages to kill Lust! (Cool!!!)
Ed decides to pay a visit to the graveyard. Much to his surprise, his father Hohenheim is already there.
Episode 20Hohenheim asks Pinako if the person who Ed and Al transmuted was really his wife. Ed overhears and is shocked. Ed then decides to dig up the failed transmuted body to verify. The result confirms what Hohenheim implied and Ed now believes even more that Al can return to his original body.
Episode 21Havoc is paralyzed due to the spinal cord damage. Havoc knows that he’s no longer of any use and wants Mustang to let him give up. Mustang decides to leave him behind for now, but he wants Havoc to catch up with him at the top.
Ed has been doing good deeds around town to draw Scar's attention and it turns out successful. While Ed is fighting Scar, Al explains everything to Mustang, and they get Mustang’s help in keeping the military away so that the Homunculus can show up.
Wrath and Gluttony show up. Ling and Lan Fan have been waiting for them.
Episode 22With Lan Fan injured, and Gluttony and Wrath going after them, Ling springs into action.
Winry finds out that Scar is the one who killed her parents.
Realizing that Winry is the daughter of the doctors, Scar recalls his past.
Episode 23With Lan Fan's sacrifice, Ling manages to escape. He helps Ed to fight Gluttony. While Gluttony is regenerating, Ling has Ed create some strong wire to bind Gluttony. Hawkeye then appears to bring Gluttony and Ling away.
May Chang comes to Scar's rescue. Even though Scar escapes, Al somehow gets his hands on her pet panda.
Winry realizes that she has fallen in love with Ed. (Why am I not surprised?)
Ling surprises everyone by revealing that King Bradley could be a Homunculus.
Gluttony hears Mustang’s name, and that triggers an angry reaction - Gluttony’s stomach opens up, and sucks in part of the cabin.
Episode 24Mustang's flame attack is useless against Gluttony as he’s able to suck in Mustang’s flames.
Ling faces Envy. Envy transforms into Lan Fan and this slows Ling down enough to let Gluttony try to swallow him up. When Ed tries to jump in and save Ling, both of them and Envy get consumed by Gluttony. After a while, Ed wakes up to find himself alone in a dark place full of blood and debris.
Back in Central, Mustang decides to see Lt. General Raven to gather support. However, he brings Mustang to see King Bradley. It turns out that, much to Mustang’s dismay, the entire military is under the control of the Homunculus.
Episode 25Ling and Ed are found by Envy, and Envy reveals that there’s no exit as the place is their Father's failed attempt to create the Gate.
Envy also reveals that he was the one who shot the child and triggered the Ishval conflict. This infuriates Ed, and he tries to punch Envy. That only pisses Envy off, and he decides to fight them with his true form - an enormous beast.
Back in the real world, Al learns about Father from Gluttony and he manages to get Gluttony to bring him to Father.
In order to control Mustang, King Bradley has all of Mustang’s men reassigned, and Hawkeye specifically is going to be serving directly under King Bradley.
Episode 26King Bradley was a human once! (No wonder he's a little different from the others.)
During Ed's struggle against Envy, he sees Envy's Philosopher’s Stone, and figures out a way to get out of the place. His idea is to transmute himself and so that the Gate will open again and thus allow them to return to the real world.
The plan is successful and Ed is in front of the Gate again. However, there are two Gates, and sitting in front of the other one is Al’s body. Ed immediately runs towards it, but the Gate he's in front of pulls him in. Al explains that he can’t come along because Ed isn’t Al’s soul. Before Ed gets pulled away, he punches his way back out to swear to Al that he’ll one day come to get him.
